- The tap collets,
type CT6,CT10 and CT13.are provided with two splits for clamping the
taps.with square groove to prevent the tap from sliping.and with the
screw to adjust the tap length.
- The UNC/UNF tap shank
sizes of U.S.A. Standard,(ANSI),are different from ones of Japanese
Standard,(JIS).
Miyakawa provides the collets for both of them stocks.
When ordering UNC/UNF tap collets, please clarify whether the tap shank
is ANSI or JIS.
